Trick or Treat

BOO!

The creative Rory Beck, of Three Home in Chagrin Falls, Ohio, can even turn my slips and shirts into a creative Halloween window display!

Don't think these beautiful slips can only be worn in the summer. Layering can be an art itself. Allowing a hint of these garments to show can be a delightful and eye catching surprise. Layer under a sweater and let the delicate edging show or under a skirt or dress with the slip peeking out at the hemline.

Happy Halloween!!

Cleveland Artists Emerge!

Friday night, over 400 Clevelanders came out in support of the "Made in the 216" event! Danielle Deboe, owner of Room Service, transformed the 3000 square foot empty retail space into a dazzling showroom highlighting some of Cleveland's most talented designers and artists. I've always loved Cleveland . . . but last night, you couldn't help but be proud to be amongst such a creative pool of artists and guests alike.

Summer is here!

I'm often told . . . "you can wear something like that but I wouldn't know what or how to wear it!". That's the beauty of these pieces! There are no limitations as to how or what to wear them with. I look for any opportunity to layer them over or under a skirt, shirt or pants; less we forget . . . sleep in them! Throw out your sarongs ladies . . . they make an eye popping bathing suit cover-up! Be creative and open minded and you too will find how versatile they are.

Made in the 216

I am delighted to be included amongst the impressive list of over 40 Cleveland artists showing their wares at one of Cleveland's most exciting events! "Made in the 216" highlights the many local artists that live and work right here in Cleveland.

The spearhead of this event is the proprietor of Room Service (www.roomservicecleveland.com), Danielle Deboe. She has single handedly grown this event beyond her own storefront. This event will prove to be the biggest and best ever, with artists occupying more than one storefront in the Detroit Shoreway Neighborhood. The Gordon Square Arts District is one of the hottest, up and coming areas in Cleveland and you surely won't want to miss a night to check it out.

I've been working hard creating new pieces and hope you will make it for this weekend event. Come out and support those who keep this city on the cultural radar!

Three Home Event

A great evening and many thanks to everyone who joined us at Three Home for the first Antsy Pantsy event of 2009! With a spring breeze blowing through the open doors of Three Home, guests and friends gathered to enjoy a glass of wine while perusing the collection of slips, t-shirts, jeans and scarves.

Rory Beck, owner of Three Home, beautifully displayed the Antsy Pantsy pieces throughout the store. From the moment you walked in the door you were captivated by the colors of the season. The vintage dyed slips hung from a bar suspended from the ceiling exposing the bright pinks and earthy greens. The collection, thoughtfully displayed, revealed the eclectic styling of bother her home furnishings and the Antsy Pantsy Line.

I have such an attachment to my pieces. I love sharing this passion with others but you see . . . I have invested such a part of myself, from finding these treasures, to deciding what to do with a pieces through the hand dying and sewing. It's just hard to part with them! I hope you will love them as much as I.

Ansty Pantsy Event

Spring is finally here! As the flowers bloom and the trees bud I can't help but be inspired by the colors of my favorite time of year. Vibrant pinks, zesty orange and grass green abound in my collection of slips for this spring and summer.

Join me, Thursday, April 23 for an Antsy Pantsy trunk show at Three.Home (www.three-home.blogspot.com), located in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. Stop in from 6pm - 9pm for a glass of wine and peruse the new collection. All pieces are hand dyed and one of kind . . . so don't miss the chance to pick out your perfect piece!
